Heavy water -
my rorq pilot boosting 2-3 hulks depending on the day, will be able to do the 10 min deployments soon. kind of annoying to have to deploy him every 10 mins but my question is.
I have warfare link 5, foreman 5 director 5, leader 5 bla bla, with foreman implant and the 3 links running on top slots. How much more efficiency does the deployed mode really give, and is it worth the cost of the fuel which i think is cheap though may be annoying to keep stocked in the rorqual if i mine a lot?

hulk pilots all maxed out everything (no implants tho)
the reason it's hard for me to figure this out is simply because the rorq gives this 5% per level (25%) bonus to all gang links but no practical way of knowing before after during etc how they are applied
so like.....well...i can't even imagine the math here :) ti's 25% of the bonuses only, but where are they applied etc...and is this even worth it?
i normally have 2-3 hulks going full time, with the rorq maxed onc argo about 60 mins i have to pick it up all up (250 in hold another 100 etc in the cargo it can do) and bring it back to pos.
this would let me deploy for 5-6 10 min cycles if i watned to....but taht's heavy water...so is it even worth the annoyance who knows, i guess i'll find out soon

wow, completely completely totally inaccurate
the rorqual gives it's bonuses just fine just sitting doing nothing with the gang links on
the specific '5% to gang links per level' bonus yes, only when deployed clearly.

No, your comments have several flaws. often times in 0.0 mining you can do without an orca, but you can't do without a rorq. If you want full profit for your minerals you refine them in a perfect standing refinery, for many many people this means getting them to empire.
you simply can't do that with uncompressed ore.
furthermore, the orca can haul even better than the orca, much much better. It fills the orca's rolls and does a lot more, rendering your point moot cuz yer not sacrificing anything to take the rorq OVER the orca and yer gaining many things unless yer a carebear empire miner.
bla bla bla that being said, bla bla bla, stop trying to tell people what things are supposed to be used for, as with everything in eve it's situational, and to sit here and imply your situation is the only relevant one makes you an ass.
so the question remains, and let's stick to facts please or go flame somewhere else. I'm simply trying to find out the bonus that the 25% rorqual bonus to gang links actually has on a perfect mining hulk, (ie, deployed or not deployed)
